The London School of Journalism offers a wide range of evening courses covering news journalism, freelance journalism and creative writing. We also offer a specialised Travel writing course.

Courses are held on a regular basis, with most courses repeating two or thee times in each academic year. Usual start dates are January or February, April or May and September or October.
Normal hours for evening courses are from 6.30pm until 8.30 or 9.00pm.
Day-time courses are also held throughout the year.
During the summer, we hold a four week Summer School, which provides a very detailed overview of News & Features journalism. This is an ideal course for those who are trying to decide if journalism is the right career for them.
Students attend courses at our premises in Maida Vale. 15 minutes' walk (or two tube stops) from Paddington Station, which is at the heart of London's public transport system. The canals of Little Venice are a few minutes' walk from the School, as are the cafes, bars and restaurants for which Little Venice is well-known.
The London School of Journalism has been teaching news journalism and freelance journalism for three generations, and continues to lead the way in the development of teaching methods which produce successful results for our students.
